Electronic card entry to the lift facilities to your apartment’s level, foyer and basement levels. (This means that residents and visitors on other floors cannot gain access to your level without your permission.)
Electronic key pad intercom with optical screening for visitors. (This means that you can view the visitors who are trying to contact you via the front entrance key pads.) From your handset inside your unit, you will be able to view the person dialling your number. You can then speak to them and allow them access to your apartment’s level only, by pressing the release button, which will enable them entry into the foyer and the lift. (This feature is also time limited to about 10 seconds, to prevent unwanted persons entering after your visitors).
Security coded apartment keys requiring signed authority both at time of issuing and also for recutting.
On site manager who will regulate the activities of the centre e.g. car parking, unruly visitors, bins etc.
Roller door into the main car park controlled by residents’ individual electronic hand held devices.
Individual, lockable, storage cupboards in the basement provided for each apartment’s use.
Nightly security company patrols of the complex.
Direct fire and telephone line alarms to the Fire Brigade in case of emergencies. These are controlled automatically by an electronic fire board panel.
Fire stairs in the fire isolated stairwells to protect evacuees in case of emergencies.
Note that people cannot access your apartment’s level via these stairs, as they only give access to the stairs from within your apartment level’s corridor. These doors are permanently locked from within the stairwell, thus preventing access to your apartment’s level.
